How does this actually work in practice?

Since our business began in June 2006, up until March 2010 we have worked in conjunction with two organisations, Rainforest Concern and The Rainforest Foundation. Our commitment has run at the level of 50p for every item (socks and underwear aside) which has been calculated by these organisations as the amount required to fulfil this obligation.

Therefore the items we sell go to finance the work that these organisations do. As we move forwards, we assess the work done by these and other carbon offset organisations to see where our contribution can be best spent.
