She believes that wonderful things lie just outside of your comfort zone and, having quite literally leapt out of her comfort zone a few years ago whilst cliff-diving in America, she now enthusiastically encourages others to think big, be brave and to start now.
Previous adventures include solo kayaking in Russia and sailing from Sweden to the UK.Working on a freelance basis within the fitness industry, she can mainly be found pursuing adventures and training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

What is your secret skill or talent?
I’m not sure that this qualifies as either a skill or a talent… But I can do a pretty great dolphin noise impression!
Tell us what makes you tick?
New places, new experiences and exploring new limits. I don’t think you learn anything about the world or yourself by staying comfortable – the more you expand, the more you realise you’re capable of.
What bothers you?
Negativity/criticism – attitude is definitely a choice and it makes all the difference.
Dive in head first with huge excitement and enthusiasm – figure out the rest from there.
Who inspires you and why?
Helen Bamber OBE. Helen has sadly passed away now but she dedicated most of her life to helping survivors of human cruelty – her efforts were relentless and her unwavering kindness really did exemplify just how much difference one person can make.
Who would you most like to be stuck in a lift with and why?
Sir David Attenborough. Imagine the stories! Also, his voice is so soothing! I can just imagine him providing a thoroughly calming voiceover to the whole situation.
What is your favourite invention and why?
The bicycle – the simple happiness and freedom it brings!
Favourite item of Bamboo Clothing?
The long sleeve base layer. It’s like the clothing equivalent of the porridge in the story of Goldilocks and the 3 bears; not too hot, not too cold – just right! I love how soft it is and that I can also somehow wear it for several days on adventures without it smelling!
Place you love to go back to again and again?
San Francisco – its such a special city and Yosemite is a really magical place.
A white Alsatian called Hobo – the perfect childhood adventure/mischief buddy!
