About the Company
BAM was founded 18-years ago with a vision to prove that business can be a force for good. As a result, BAM’s business grew by innovating fabrics, and designing and developing a range of activewear which were better for the planet. At the same time, developing working practices across its business and supply chain that treated everyone fairly and with respect. This was ahead of its time, but principles that are as important today, if not more so.
Over its journey BAM has gone from strength to strength, but things don’t and can’t stand still. In a category with individual and collective progress at its heart, we’ve built and innovated creating something better for customers and the world. We’ve been unafraid to go the hard way because good things don’t come easy and we’ve had a great time doing it because the right way is where the good people are – nonconformist, upbeat, tenacious, courageous, and here for the journey.
We are now embarking on our next phase of ambitious growth, seeing the potential to create an inspiring consumer brand that customers fall in love with, while continuing to do things the right way.
“I wanted to build something I could present to the world and say ‘this is how it is done. Let’s get rid of all your nonsense and whatever big business is and say, ‘this is the way.’ I wanted to make a point. You can have more success doing things in a nice way” Dave – Founder

BAM Principles
● Radical honesty: No one is confident when they can’t tell what’s real and what’s not. So, we tell the imperfect truth – no matter what.
● Softly does it: We are kind, we don’t force change, we make change feel better and in turn we make better easier to choose.
● Courageous independence: Just because it’s ‘the way’ it doesn’t make it the right way. We’re always take the better way, even when it’s harder.
● This is the best part: We don’t wait till later to enjoy ourselves or take it all too seriously. Every moment is the moment we never stifle a laugh.
