BAM Influencer and Social Manager - Full Time - Plymouth, Devon

At BAM we are on a mission to become internationally recognised as the best sustainable activewear brand.
 
The brand was started 14 years ago by our founder David Gordon, who has spent his life involved in the worlds of sport and expedition. He wanted to create a brand with the value of putting people and planet at its core. He wanted to demonstrate to bigger brands that you can succeed by doing things ‘the right way’ and have a little fun while you’re doing it.
 
When David discovered bamboo fabric he knew he was onto something special. The fabric is supremely soft, 3 times more absorbent than cotton and made from the world’s most sustainable crop. 
 
After a number of years of steady and strong growth we are building our teams in a bid to have an even bigger imapact.  And we are looking for an Influencer and Social Manager to build and inspire our growing tribe of brand advocates.
 
About the role – what you’ll be responsible for
 
Taking the lead on creating and delivering a social media and influencer strategy that drives conversation and conversion. 
 
Develop an inspiring team of BAMbassadors who are strong brand advocates creating inspiring content and supporting the growth of our community
 
Direct and support the Social Media Exec by inspiring, nurturing and being clear with objectives to  create a world class feed and grow an engaged audience.
 
Develop partnerships and collaborations with brands and events that help us to connect and engage with our customers through shared values.
 
Bringing the brand to life through storytelling and great content creation through all digital channels.
 
About you

Salary £30k – £35k dependent on experience

BAM Garment Technologist / Product Developer - London

We are looking for a garment technologist to provide technical expertise and help to develop high quality & innovative product. This role has the potential to directly impact the business and play an integral role in the growth & development of the brand.
 
About the role – what you’ll be responsible for
 
A unique opportunity for a creatively minded technologist, you’ll get the chance to innovate and explore both sustainability & performance within fabric and product development. 
 
You’ll work very closely with the rest of the product team to bring together the entire range for each season, managing the product development cycle and improving processes where needed to make things more efficient.
 
Analysing returns and feedback information and driving constant improvements to fit, quality & consistency. You’ll be shaping strategies to help us continue to delight customers and reduce return rates.
 
We have very close relationships with our small supply base, so you’ll be in constant communication with them and continue to build our strong partnerships with them.
 
Together with the rest of the product & sustainability team, you’ll constantly work to reduce the negative impacts of BAM products in line with our sustainability strategy, without compromising product quality. This is an opportunity to make a real difference using your creative thinking and technical expertise.
 
This position has become vacant due to an internal promotion into a newly created Technical & Sustainability Manager role which you’ll be reporting into as well as managing your own assistant. There is huge potential for progression & development within this rapidly growing business.
 
Occasional trips to our Devon office will be required. The occasional overseas trip may also be required.

You have a deep knowledge of garment construction & fit across multiple product areas.
 
You have a solid understanding of fabric construction & performance.

Salary around £30k per annum dependent on experience.
