Purple Sock Day 2025

Purple Sock Day is our way of supporting the International Day of Disabled People, which takes place each year on December 3rd. The annual day aims to raise awareness of disability inclusion and advocate for the rights and well-being of disabled individuals. Parallel Lifestyle, who we’re proudly collaborating with for the fourth year, are dedicated to promoting disability inclusion in mainstream society.

It is our pleasure to be working with them to provide incredibly soft purple bamboo socks for you to purchase and wear in solidarity.

50% of all proceeds raised from Purple Sock Day are donated by Parallel to support deaf, disabled, and neurodiverse entrepreneurs. The primary beneficiary of this initiative is The British Association of Supported Employment (BASE), who help individuals and employers incorporate inclusive recruitment practices into their workplace. The support from this campaign comes in many practical forms: professional advice, mentoring, networking opportunities, and tailored business support across a variety of disabilities. The remaining 50% is re-invested into growing Purple Sock Day as well as other brilliant Parallel projects with the aim of ‘no limits’ living. How could we not get involved?!
